The Point

A lot has happened since this blog went live for the first time. I’m no longer a pastry chef, I know longer make desserts for a living nor is this blog centered around desserts. I’m training to be a counseling hypnotherapist and my blog will center more around musings and insights I have about what I have been learning from my course, about human nature and about myself.

A completely different world has opened up to me and I’m happily going about exploring it. May you find peace and comfort as you go about your day. – November 2015

Past Updates:

It’s been 2 years since I wrote out what’s above. I’m still a pastry chef and have moved up the ranks to pastry instructor. Hard to believe 2 years have gone so fast. I deeply enjoy having my blog (thank-you brother-in-law) Much has changed, and much has stayed the same. I hope you like my musings, rants and raves and will continue to enjoy them. This is how I view what’s around me.

Life’s short, eat dessert first.

Past Updates:

Here’s welcoming you! This is a blog about the sweet stuff. I’m talking about all things in which everybody tries to deny but ultimately falls for. That little somethin’ somethin’. I’m talking about desserts. My name is Anna and I am a trained red seal pastry chef with over 16 years of industry experience. I also owned a small business called Anna’s Indulgence Dessert Bar.

My topics will range anywhere from why I love being a pastry chef, the side of owning a small business that nobody ever talks about, desserts I can’t stand and everything in between.  Not to worry, one does not have to be a culinary professional to enjoy my musings, rants or advice.  They just have to read them.

Remember, dessert is spelled with 2 “ss” because you always want 2 servings.

Here’s to the next serving.

  1. I still think my ginger martinis should have won the Ginger Challenge. It was the only recipe of which everyone wanted seconds. 🙂

  2. Hi Anna – hoping you see this. Please let us know by responding to the email address barbarajeancoast@yahoo.com The writers meeting scheduled for Nov 5 at 6:30 pm will be held at the Mission Branch Library (where we had the workshop).
